A fear that knows it is irrational and stays anyway.
Phobias are not thoughts. They are body responses installed by a specific experience. MTP™ changes the installation.
Phobias are not irrational fears. They are completely rational responses to a past experience — installed by an event that the nervous system decided was dangerous. The irrationality is only that the original event is no longer present. The response is still running perfectly.
Immediate, overwhelming physical response to the trigger
Avoidance that increasingly limits your life
Knowing the fear is out of proportion and being unable to change it
Shame about the fear
Planning your life around avoiding the trigger
Hypnotherapy is among the best-evidenced interventions for phobia resolution. It works because phobias are stored as somatic-emotional patterns below cognitive access — which is exactly where trance operates. The technique is not exposure or desensitisation. It is reprocessing the original installation at the same level where it was stored.
Peer-reviewed evidence supporting MTP-aligned interventions for Phobias & Fears.
"A single session of hypnotherapy produced significant reductions in specific phobia symptoms maintained at 6-month follow-up in multiple case studies and small trials."
Spiegel & Spiegel, Trance and Treatment"Hypnotic techniques for phobia showed rapid and lasting resolution, often in 1–4 sessions, compared to multiple sessions required by exposure-based approaches."

Good fit
Specific phobias: flying, heights, needles, animals, enclosed spaces, vomiting
Social phobia with a specific triggering origin
Phobias that have persisted for years despite knowing they are irrational
Not the right fit
Phobias that are part of a broader OCD or psychotic presentation requiring specialist assessment
How many sessions does phobia treatment take? +
Many phobias resolve in 1–4 sessions. The speed depends on the simplicity of the original installation and the client's hypnotic responsiveness. Some complex, multi-layered phobias take longer.
Do I have to be exposed to the thing I fear? +
No. MTP™ does not use exposure therapy. The work occurs in a state of safety — the feared object is not introduced. Change happens at the level of how the nervous system has stored the original experience.
A phobia is a locked door. MTP™ finds where the key was hidden.
Every engagement begins with a conversation. No commitment. No pressure. Just an honest exchange to understand whether this is right for you.
